Third-generation builder/developer Robert E. “Bob” Buchanan will receive the George Mason Medal, George Mason �鶹����’s highest honorary award, at the 2025 Spring Commencement on Thursday, May 15, at EagleBank Arena.

George Mason �鶹���� will celebrate Spring Commencement on Thursday by honoring a record-setting number of students earning degrees, and nearly 11,800 students total will be recognized for earning degrees or certificates.

Growing up, George Mason �鶹���� senior Haila Salaheddine was not a big fan of going to the dentist. “I was initially very fearful of the dentist. When I was living in Lebanon, there wasn’t really preventative care for oral hygiene,” said Salaheddine, a community health major.
