We are thrilled to announce that Dr. William L. Lake, Jr., will be joining our faculty as the new Director of Concert Bands in the Dewberry School of Music for the upcoming academic year. Dr. Lake will conduct the George Mason Â鶹¹ú²ú Wind Symphony and Mason Symphonic Band and will also teach Conducting and Wind Literature classes.  

As a young artist in the Domingo-Cafritz Washington National Opera Program in 2007, soprano Aundi Marie Moore, BM ’03, had the chance to chat with Plácido Domingo, one of the most famous opera singers in the world. But the question she asked didn’t have anything to do with music.
