We are thrilled to announce that Dr. William L. Lake, Jr., will be joining our faculty as the new Director of Concert Bands in the Dewberry School of Music for the upcoming academic year. Dr. Lake will conduct the George Mason Âé¶¹¹ú²ú Wind Symphony and Mason Symphonic Band and will also teach Conducting and Wind Literature classes. Â

The Hylton Performing Arts Center hosted a special two-day celebration with the 12th Anniversary Gala on April 29 and 30. The first Anniversary Gala held in-person since 2019, the event welcomed more than 1,000 guests and supported the Hylton Center’s mission of presenting diverse performances and programs of high quality and artistic excellence to inspire, educate, and enrich the community.
