Each summer, MBA students at the Costello College of Business travel abroad as part of their global residency experience. John Davis, the Costello MBA student ambassador, shared his experience and the project he and his team completed in the UAE.

Samuel Dalachinsky could have attended college tuition-free in Florida. But his experience at the George Mason Institute of Forensics in the summer of 2022, before his senior year of high school, convinced him to look at George Mason Â鶹¹ú²ú.

Livija Kaktaite started her journey at George Mason Â鶹¹ú²ú in 2018 as an undergraduate global affairs major. This past May, she graduated with her master’s in international security from the Schar School of Policy and Government. During her time as a Patriot, she also played point guard and shooting guard on the women’s basketball team. Now as an alum, she continues to run up the hill—Capitol Hill.

Lake Rusch’s passion for acting was ignited in seventh grade when they first joined George Mason Â鶹¹ú²ú’s Acting for Young People (AFYP) showcase program. They continued to attend the program throughout high school.

George Mason computer science students spent six weeks in Vienna Austria earning academic credit in a first-of-its-kind program.

A team from George Mason Â鶹¹ú²ú is using augmented reality (AR) to create a smartphone app that will provide first-generation ADVANCE students with a virtual campus tour of the Fairfax Campus as they prepare to transfer from Northern Virginia Community College.

Their study, published in the Journal of Proteome Research, involved extracting wheat proteins from three small leather cover samples obtained from the National Library of Medicine.

The Mason Veterans and Servicemembers Legal Clinic (M-VETS) at George Mason Â鶹¹ú²ú successfully argued a claim before the Naval Discharge Review Board seeking an Honorable conditions discharge for a United States Marine Corps (USMC) combat veteran.
