Biography
Khady KamaraÌýNunezÌýis the executive director of Perelman Performing Arts Center (PACÌýNYC). She has over 25Ìýyears of theater management experience with a proven record of significantly increasing earned and contributed revenue streamsÌýandÌýresearching and launching new revenue streams. In addition to managing strategic planning efforts, a core focus is strengthening community relations and developing new audiences with an attention toÌýdiversity and inclusion. Ìý
Prior to becoming executive director of PACÌýNYC, Khady was executive director of Second Stage Theater where she oversaw multiple aspects of the organization; including operations, finance, marketing, and production.ÌýÌýIn June 2022, she won a Tony Award® forÌýTake Me OutÌýas part of the Second Stage leadership team.Ìý
She has extensive non-profit management experience, including a 20-year career at Arena Stage in Washington DC – one of the largest performing arts organizations in the US.Ìý During her tenure, KhadyÌýdoubled the company’s subscription base, increased patron engagement, and contributed to the world premieres ofÌýDear Evan HansenÌýandÌýThe Originalist, both of which transferred to New York. Ìý
